Warranty & Maintenance Plans

Access & Mobility” is ready to service and maintain your accessibility equipment for the life of your product.  We have experienced service technician employees who are available to help you well beyond the installation date.

Similar to your car or HVAC unit, maintenance is a critical component to safely and reliably operate your home elevator.

Annual maintenance is a stated manufacturer’s requirement to maintain the manufacturer’s product warranty, and many home insurance policies require annual preventative maintenance on home elevators.

Manufacturer’s Warranty

Each manufacturer offers a specific parts warranty that covers their respective products from the date of installation. “Access & Mobility” supplements this parts warranty with a service warranty for one year from the date of installation.

“Access & Mobility” installs the highest quality elevator and lift products. In the rare instance where your Bruno, Handicare, Guldmann, or Savaria equipment malfunctions, our knowledgeable service technicians are available to assist.

Oftentimes, simple issues can be identified and resolved over the phone. If troubleshooting over the phone is unsuccessful, we will schedule an appointment with one of our experienced service technicians.

If you prefer a higher level of support, inquire about having your equipment remotely monitored with state of the art technology; additional fees apply.

– Indoor stairlifts – limited lifetime warranty on major components and 3-year warranty on other components
– Outdoor stairlifts – 5-year warranty on major components and 3-year warranty on other components
– Platform lifts – 2-year warranty on major components and 1-year warranty on other components
Guldmann Ceiling Track – 3-year limited warranty on most parts, 25-year warranty on Rails

Service Agreement Options

“Access & Mobility” installs accessibility products, elevators and lifts, with safety mechanisms built into their product design. To ensure each product continues to operate at an optimal level, which is different for every product, we recommend a Service Agreement Plan offered by Access & Mobility in Nashville, Tennessee.

 

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PLAN

Preventative maintenance plans include: one annual service visit, inspection and testing. Preventative maintenance checks might reduce the cost and frequency of repairs and which could extend the life of your accessibility equipment. We will proactively schedule a preventative maintenance check every 12 months for those customers who have purchased an “Access & Mobility” Extended Maintenance Plan.

“Access & Mobility” offers a few different maintenance contracts that range from an annual maintenance plan to a bumper-to-bumper extended warranty plan that covers unlimited service calls and replacement parts. All Maintenance Plans include unlimited phone support for troubleshooting issues that might be resolved without a site visit.
